Ronald James Obituary, Ronald James “Jim” Street, age 72, of Alledonia, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Born on June 9, 1953, in Bellaire, Ohio, Jim was the beloved son of the late Jessie “Shorty” and Elsie Saffell Street. A proud graduate of Beallsville High School, Class of 1971, Jim dedicated his life to his family, community, and passions. Jim was a retired coal miner, having worked at the Ohio Valley Coal Company #6 Mine near Beallsville.
His work ethic and dedication were admired by all who knew him. A member of Sunsbury Lodge #362, F & AM, Jim’s commitment extended beyond his profession, reflecting his strong sense of community and brotherhood. Sports played a central role in Jim’s life. Growing up, he enjoyed youth sports and later played for the Beallsville Blue Devils. His enthusiasm for softball led him to compete on various fast-pitch softball teams in the region. As he matured, Jim became a passionate coach and mentor, inspiring players of all ages. His greatest joy, however, was watching his children—Ronnie, Colby, and Charity—participate in every sport imaginable, supporting them wholeheartedly from childhood through adulthood.
Jim’s heart was rooted in his family. His greatest pleasure was spending quality time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His warmth, kindness, and love left a lasting imprint on everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jessie Street, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Harry and Beulah Riley Neff; and brother in law, Terry Neff. Surviving him are his devoted wife and best friend, Debbie Neff Street; his children, Ronnie Tammy Wells, Colby Cindy Street, and Charity Michael Jorris; sister, Beverly Jeff Gallaher; grandchildren, Isabella Street, Matt Walker, Paityn Street, Trevor Kalyn Hill, Gabe Tonja Cranmer, Mason Tayler Hill, Jadyn Miller, Kennadi Jorris, Keegan Jorris, Boone Jorris; great-grandchildren, Bella and Eli Hill; along with nieces, nephews, and his loyal four-legged friend, “Louie.”
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, June 16, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home – Harper Chapel, Beallsville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, at 11 a.m., officiated by Wayne Clark. Burial will follow at Beallsville Cemetery, where Jim’s legacy of love and community will be forever remembered.
