John Linn Obituary,  a beloved member of the Pittsburgh community, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, at the age of 66. Surrounded by his loving family, John’s life was a testament to dedication, kindness, and a deep love for his family and community. Born on December 22, 1959, he was the son of the late John and Roberta Adamski Linn. Throughout his life, John was known for his hard work and reliability. He dedicated many years of his career as a lineman for the Port Authority, where his skilled hands and industrious spirit earned him respect and admiration. Whether fixing electrical lines or helping his neighbors, John’s willingness to lend a hand made him a trusted figure in his community.

Beyond his work, John was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in fishing and hunting. His love for nature was evident in his peaceful moments spent in the woods or by the water, always seeking relaxation and adventure in the natural world. He also had a green thumb, taking great pride in planting flowers and maintaining a beautiful home filled with vibrant blooms and warmth. John’s family was at the center of his life. He was a devoted husband to Carol Ratti Linn for 41 years, sharing a lifelong partnership filled with love and memories. He was a caring father to his daughters, Shelli Grimm and Gina Winkler, and a proud grandfather to Simone and Bodie. His siblings, Mary Pat DiPippa, Kelli Linn and brother-in-law Ron Julian, were also important parts of his life. John shared a special bond with his nieces and nephews, always making time for those he loved.

John was preceded in death by his sister Debbie Julian and his beloved dog Gino. His warm personality and generous spirit touched many lives, making him a friend to all and a stranger to none. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10:00 am at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Thomas A’ Becket Church in Clairton, PA. Following the service, a committal will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park in Pittsburgh. John’s legacy of love, dedication, and community will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
