Clifford B William Obituary, With heavy hearts, the family of Clifford “Boylo” William Whitford of Kikino Metis Settlement, Alberta, announce his passing on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the age of 73. Clifford was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, whose presence touched many lives through his kindness, humor, and strength. Clifford leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever. His children, Dale Berard and April Berard (Kelly Shirt), hold his legacy close.
He was a proud grandfather to Brendan Shirt, Jaden Shirt Taylor, Noah Shirt, and Clifford Shirt. His great-granddaughter, Evee White-Shirt, brought him immense joy. Clifford is survived by his brother, Ron Lorraine Whitford, and sister, Vivian Francis Noskey-Gladue. He will also be remembered by extended family and friends who appreciated his warm spirit and generous heart. Clifford was predeceased by his son, Justin Lafleur; his parents, Peter and Sara Whitford; brothers Lester, Joey, and Leonard Whitford; and sisters Clara Quinn and Margaret Whitford. His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kikino Community Centre. Father Anselmo Landoy will officiate, with cremation to follow. The family invites all who knew Clifford to join in celebrating his life and paying their respects. Pallbearers include Jaden Shirt, Brendan Shirt, Noah Shirt, John Noskey Jr., Jesse Quinn, Sheldon Whitford, Joey Whitford Jr., and Jerry Whitford. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Cardinal and Colin Ca. Their support and love exemplify the respect and admiration Clifford earned throughout his life.
